LEASING AGENT- Tallahassee, FL SUMMARY OF POSITION The person will be responsible for leasing apartments to prospective residents. Ensure all procedures involved with leasing an apartment are executed in a timely manner with a positive attitude. Attire and grooming must be especially professional and appropriate for the business culture.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES • Have a creative flair for marketing and resident relations. • Have a warm, fun, creative and outgoing personality. Be able to build positive relationships with co-workers, residents and potential residents. • Ability to communicate well verbally with a variety of people in various situations, telephone and face to face. Ability to paint word pictures and express enthusiasm. • Have a competitive nature, thrive in the face of daily challenges and work well under pressure. • Provides tours of models and property to prospective residents for purpose of securing a deposit to lease an apartment(s). • Discusses with prospective residents the advantages (benefits and features) of leasing at our property. • Prepares leases and related documents for qualified renters. • Schedules resident move-ins. • Ensure models are clean and presentable, turn on lights and music in morning, and off in evening. • Conducts comparative surveys as requested to ensure competitiveness market pricing. • Participates in customer service programs to foster superior resident relations. • Performs general office duties as needed or assigned. • Maintains and follows-up with leasing phone log. QUALIFICATIONS • Excellent phone etiquette, communication and organizational skills • Able to work with diverse staff and residents
